Our only reason for collecting any personal information is to provide you with an efficient, smooth, and trouble-free experience whilst using our services. When you register or contact us, we need to know your name, e-mail address, your phone number, and an insight into your computer problem. This allows us to process your request to contact you or send our news letter. .

When you enter a Warsash IT Solutions Ltd competition, we may ask you for your name, address and e-mail address so that we can administer the competition and notify winners. Whilst we may post the name and town of any winners on our site, we would never divulge any personally identifiable information.

Session Cookies.

We occasionally use a session cookie to remember your log-in details for you. We deem this strictly necessary to the working of this website and if these are disabled then various functionality of the site will be broken and you will be unable to place comments on the blog when available.

Social Buttons.

On many of the pages of the site you will see ‘social buttons’. These enable users to share or bookmark certain pages. There are buttons for: Twitter, Google +1, and Facebook ‘Like’. In order to implement these buttons, and connect them to the relevant social networks and external sites, there are scripts from domains outside of Warsash IT Solutions Ltd. You should be aware that these sites are likely to be collecting information about what you are doing all around the internet, including on Warsash IT Solutions Ltd’s site. So if you click on any of these buttons, these sites will be registering that action and may use that information. External Web Services.

We may occasionally use a number of external web services on the Warsash IT Solutions Ltd site, mostly to display content within our web pages. For example, to display videos we use YouTube. This is not an exhaustive or complete list of the services we use, or might use in the future, when embedding content, but are the most common. As with the social buttons we cannot prevent these sites, or external domains, from collecting information on your usage of this embedded content. If you are not logged in to these external services then they will not know who you are but are likely to gather anonymous usage information e.g. number of views, plays, loads etc.

Email Tracking.

Some emails that we send you have tracking so that we can tell if the email has been delivered and displayed on a computer screen. We use this information to understand open and click rates on our emails to try and improve them, and insure that emails are going to the address they have been sent to. Although delivery information will always be sent back the read information can be stopped by clicking on “do not send” on the pop up information and consent box.

Blog Comments & Reviews.

In order to leave a comment on our Blog or review a product you have to give us your Name and Email address. We require name and email addresses for quality control purposes.

Will Warsash IT Solutions Ltd disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others, unless we have your explicit permission to do so. Warsash IT Solutions Ltd may also provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

How do we protect customer information?

Warsash IT Solutions Ltd use many different industry standard security techniques to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. When you contact or register with us your address and details are saved manually, with those details having no access to the internet. This ensures that your information can only be read by our vetted staff. Additionally the files are password protected and encrypted so they are unreadable by any outside party. Furthermore, all information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988. None of the customers who have contacted or registered with Warsash IT Solutions Ltd have reported improper or fraudulent use of their data as a result of using our website.
